AWD Turbo Mercury Tracer

Ive always been an all around car lover.  But i am truly at heart a Mazda lover, but why the mercury tracer you ask?  The Mercury Tracer LTS was a direct clone of the 1st generation Mazda Protege LX, with a Ford Escort like shell, along with the Ford Escort LX-E.  Like most of the ford/mazdas from the 90’s it was gifted with the heart of Mazda.   And that takes us to Kevin, I first met him back when i was a junior in high school.  When he bought a motor i had for my escort, and I was happy to see that he actually raced them.  So he showed up with a giant trailer, and took my motor away that i spent all my Mickey D’s money on away.   Fast Forward years later i run into kevin on www.mazdas247.com.  And i find out about his new 2008 GRM project he had planned.  AWD Mercury Tracer for under $2008.00….impossible most will say.  But the lack of popularity for 90’s mazda helps make things very possible.  And the interchangeability makes it even easier.  Kevin also has a few nice miatas.  A true car builder!!
