SCCA American Road Race of Champions @ Road Atlanta. Nov 5-7
Well the SCCA finale is coming up in under a month scheduled for November 5-7 at Road Atlanta.
If you have never been, it’s worth the small ticket fee to watch some of the best road racing with numerous classes from ground pounding GT cars to the stupid competitive Spec Miata class.
Want to drive? There are PDX sessions…AKA track day…Sunday during the “quiet time” that the county mandates. It’s only $100 to drive YOUR CAR on the track at speed! All you need is a legal car (battery tie down, seats, working belts, no leaks, etc) and a helmet! If you’re a beginner, you will be given an instructor. It’s 40 minutes worth of seat time for $100. It’s a great deal, especially if you’re considering building a track car or really starting to invest some money in track stuff.
