Cory Stovall’s Skyline R32

Today we take a trip up to Kentucky with Ty Cobb and Cory Stovall’s R32 Skyline GTR.

Photos By: Ty Cobb

Cory’s build started about 2 and half years ago.  When the Skyline was purchased and immediately stripped bare and rebuilt from the ground up.  Cory’s vision with the Skyline was to improve the cars driving characteristics but stay true to the exterior beauty of the R32 with the N1 Air ducts and headlights.

Cory decided to go with jet black paint to keep the car somewhat low key, since it does already get a lot of attention.  Cory works at a body shop so he was able to handle the paint himself.

The power plant begins with a Rb26 from the N1 R32 GTR.  The Rb26 works with the upgraded Precision 6265 billet wheel t4 turbo, and a long list of helper upgrades (listed below). The build was done by Cory as well except for the engine tuning which was done at Dynosty.

The interior remains subtle with the most noticeable upgrade being the Nardi Suede steering to match the suede accents.

Gonna end it with a up close side profile shot, and you can really see how well of a job Cory did restoring the Skyline by the look of the body panels.  I always think that the hardest part of restoration is putting it all back together the way it originally was.  We will continue to follow up with Cory and his R32, but he is very satisfied with where the car is at the moment so it may remain the way it is for a while

Thanks for looking!
