24hrs of Dubai

The 24 Hours of Dubai is now part of the 24H Series, which runs the 24 Hours of Dubai and 12 hour enduro at in Hungary at the Hungaroring.

This years overall winner was the Schubert Motorsport BMW Z4 driven by a strong four driver lineup including American Tommy Milner who has been driving BMWs in the American Le Mans Series and recently announced his ride in the ALMS with Corvette.  Other drivers from all over the world showed up for the 2011 round, including many more well known American drivers such as Boris Said, Bill Auberlen, and more.

All in all, the 24 Hours of Dubai is growing as a wonderful start to the new year. It’s a great chance for teams and drivers to break in the year right and enjoy a true endurance race in one of the most beautiful places in the world. With over seventy cars taking the green flag this year, it’s quickly becoming one of the events to race. It will continue to grow and continue to offer both professional drivers and rising starts the chance to play.
