FD Times Two
This all began 2 years ago when I met Phillip (the green fd owner) at a Fast and Furious opening night meet held at the movie theater, i spotted the car as he was leaving, exchanged a few words as he left. Than about 6 months later i ran into him again at a Mazmart meet. At the time I was in the market for a Rx car, and he had drove his yellow FB GSL that day because the FD was being moody and having issues. So after awhile he let me take his GSL for a spin around the block since i had never drove a rotary car. So instantly I was hooked, and that led to me purchasing a 88 FC of my own. But we remained in contact and he updated me on the progress of his FD as it was being rebuilt by one of Ga’s known rotary specialist Juan Del Gado. So Phillip let me know it was back in business and ready to hit the road, we had to link up for some photos. And he brought his good friend Damien along in his sleek single turbo Fd.

Phillip’s FD sports the Oem green paint and the gold Gullglame Gravity wheels blend so well with the Georgia Tech backdrop!
From the front you can really see the Burnout fender flares, that widen the FD’s curvy structure for the wide appropriately fitting 9.5″ wheels.
Later that night we hit 75 for some rolling shots a lot of trial and error, but they managed to get some good shots.
Damien’s Fd may look like it spends its time in at a car show or in a parking lot being cleaned and polished 24/7. But he can be spotted at Road Atlanta putting the car to good use. The car has a long list of upgrades inside and out, but his favorite is the single turbo conversion, that pushes the 13b to 400+hp.
Do not let the lack of a visual front mount fool you..this car has a soothing turbo whistle that lets all the secrets out when accelerating.
