Sumospeed: September Car Feature
Check it out…I have not seen such a clean Jswap in a civic before! With all comfort components and bagged!
The majority of the time, when you see these swaps, the engines are protruding through a cut out in the hood that is necessary due to the obvious increase in height of the engine in comparison to smaller four cylinder options. When Jim Sumner decided to swap this engine into his 1996 Honda civic hatchback, he wanted a more OEM look. Jim turned to Square 1 Motorsports to help him achieve this and with help from one of Square 1’s fabricators, Gene Yee, was able to acquire the results he was looking for.
