Wynn’s Burgers & Cream Final Meet

Southern car scene strengthened by a man’s passion for food and cars.

WORDS/PICTURES BY: COLIN P.

In 2005, Wynn had his start with his first restaurant when he took over Wild Noodles.  Spending time on  TennSpeed  Wynn started introducing him self to the car scene.  “I just got tired of noodles” said Wynn, and his idea to start a burger restaurant became reality and it really kicked started Wynn’s business after he offered car meets every Saturday.

“Everyone seems to know each other, and I always got along with everyone here” said Wynn. This was his motivation to house these events every saturday.  Before Burger’s and Ice cream, locals would always find places to meet up and talk cars but it would always result in getting kicked out by cops.  Car owners had a place to meet up, make friends, talk cars, and grab a bite to eat. “I wanted people to come meet and hang out with no issues with local police” said Wynn, and what he wanted came true.

Sadly our Saturday’s at Wynn’s Burgers and Creme have come to an unexpected stop.  With our community confused, we aren’t really to sure where we could ever meet again.  Wynn did such a great thing for our community and strengthened the car scene in Middle Tennessee.  He created friendships, and allowed a powerful experience for local car owners.  We are all sad to see the end, and it’s best that you know that the impact you had on the car scene here was huge.

Last words from Wynn himself.

“ Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. For hanging out with me, and coming to the meets. The friendships I’ve made from the experience is indescribable. The support I received is much appreciated. THANK YOU.”
