Import Face-off 2013 Montgomery, Alabama
A little behind on the IFO coverage, but we finally got it up for you all. I have a bad habit about missing drag racing events, just because they are not advertised as much as the parking lot events. But I really enjoy these more than anything, these guys put so much into these cars and travel so far just to get a few runs in. Everyone wants to win, but the vibe from most of the drivers is that they just want to race! The go fast biulds seem to be making a comeback and the competition is making these events enjoyable. There has been a few disappointing shows this year, that really shit on the Import crowd, that would rather fill seats then put on a good event for the drivers. IFO was one of the better ones of the year, Cliff Wallace and the Import Face-Off team are keeping drag racing alive in the southeast.
The Montgomery show is one that I really should never miss, just because most of my family lives there. Its only a 2 hour drive at the most, so we made a quick trip down for the event. We are going to do more to get involved in the racing scene in the future, and make these events just as popular as any other.

I was just fond of the color combo on the Forte. The wheels are from a 2013 Mustang.

Jon caught a nice shot of this Genesis late in the afternoon.
Surprisingly there were more rotary powered RX7’s than piston swapped ones.
I do not remember what this Integra was running. I was really digging the color I believe the owner is from Louisiana.

The Karboyz Civic had a short day, they lost their crank pulley on their second run, so their civic will go back under the knife and be back in January.
