Fuad’s Lexus GS300

Introducing Fuad’s Lexus GS300.

I find myself saying “back in the day”  when talking about the car scene  lately.   Its not because I was younger and more active, but it was because with the absence of social media allowed people to craft their build and vision until it is ready to be shown.  Which perfectly describes my good friend Fuad and his approach to everything he builds.  When I first met him and he was building his accord wagon, I would always reach out to set up a day to shoot the car.  But he would always tell me to wait till this or that is done.  I would tell him to just leave it alone and just let me shoot it, which he would reply ” I just can’t”.  While I was impatient and felt that it was good enough, I could only respect that and be wait…

I said all that to paint a picture on what kind of person Fuad is and why I appreciate this build and him so much.  I have been around so many people with nice cars and talked to people and after some time it became crazy obvious who is in it for the passion and who is just looking for the quick thrill.  When Fuad got the Lexus I felt like it was so he could take a break from the Honda and try his hand with something different.  From the beginning of the build he told me the plan, and laid out what he wanted out of the car.  From the start the plan was to be wide body , all black and big turbo.  It sounded pretty simple and a common look to most cars at the time. But with Fuad, nothing is simple..

The Aero consists of  Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood, Seibon Roof Spoiler , Seibon 3 Piece Spoiler  , Vertex Front bumper , Vertex side skirts and the Wald Rear lip all  accenting the  Serial Nine widebody kit.  While the aero is a mixture of a few companies it all flows properly and makes everything look uniform.  None of the pieces look out of place, and give the car an aggressive sporty look.

Typically the 3 piece spoiler covers up the ‘GS 300″ logo and it is either removed or put on top.  But Fuad had Supestar Customs put in the extra work to make the emblem sit flush into the spoiler, it is one of my favorite details..

The custom made Loz Customs headlights add more aggression to the front end a long with the Blitz front mount.  Fuad had Heat lightning custom make the intercooler piping to sit uniform behind the Vertex Bumper.

The car sits on Stance XR1 Coilovers combined with Serial Nine’s catalog of adjustable arms front and rear to allow  Fuad to tuck the 19″ Leon Hardritt Ordens with ease at all times.

Inside the seats were upgraded to Recaro SR7 Seats.  Custom center console bezel and trunk audio setup built by Markland Designs.   My favorite part about the interior is while it is bright red, it is still subtle and tastefully done, just enough to accent the exterior.

Under the hood we have the legendary 2jZGTE coupled with a CD009 by way of the Collins adapter kit, and Heat lightning Clutch and Pedal kit.  Power coming from the Gold plated Precision 6266 Turbo to match the gold plated valve covers.

I have seen tons of GS builds, but Fuad’s turned me into a GS lover.  While it is a simple approach, the details and flow of it all makes it standout from most that I have seen.  Score one for the OGs this time..
