Tennessee Drift December 2010
Waking up to rain and overcast skies was not what I was hoping for and not expecting a huge crowd. I headed out to the Nashville Super Speedway with the Deft Motion crew. When we got there I was surprised at how many people actually showed up!
It was good to see the Team Ginger Beard back with 1JZ 240sx and the 1UZ swapped Celica. It is awesome to watch Sean Morgan and Harrison Ritchie tear it up! I also got to see some new cars as some guys from Traction Optional were in attendance, and of course Josh Murphy with Deft Motion.
I got together with Colin and we set out on the track to start our day. It was a little cold outside but we didn’t have any time to notice that as burnt rubber was shot at us from just feet away. I asked Sean what he liked most about this track. “Definitely the entry speed, and then having to scrub off all that speed for the tight hairpin. High entry speeds are where its at!”
The day of tire smoking went on and man was it awesome! Tennessee Drift sure knows how to put on awesome events, and we can’t thank the Nashville Super Speedway enough for letting us on to their awesome track. I am looking forward to what is to come next season!
