Event Coverage

Auto Combine 2012 Coverage -Green Cove Springs, FL

This past weekend was a complete pleasure to finally get a chance to make the trip down to Florida and see how they get down.  Even though our weekend involved a 24 hour sleepless marathon, and half of that was driving down and back to Florida.  But after I could honestly say it was well worth the trip.  Finally getting to see some of the cars from Team V2Labs, I Love Driving Slow, and meeting the Funk Fashion crew.

This trip was important for us, we have always had a close connection with Florida.  But never got a chance to physically go to a event in Florida.  And it was a great experience all around, the atmosphere felt much like being at a Atlanta meet hanging with friends, we were pleased to have a lot of attendees come by the booth and say whats up and express their support for Southrnfresh which is always a pleasure and a honor.

Much appreciation to Noah of Funk Fashion for the hospitality, the organization was on point, and the parking was superb.  Like we stated on Facebook, the Florida – Georgia bridge is being built!

We are new to the whole booth thing, but it was good to have cars willing to park in our area, and keep us company all day. We had Anthony’s Miata on one side, and Justin’s widebody evo on the other side.
This was on the other side, owned by Justin from Florida. The whole theme was very cool, also pleased that he was cool enough to leave his car club and park with us in our space for the evening. We got some photos of the car also for later!

And parked next to the EVO was Rion Morse’s bagged E30.
This LS came rolling in with the I Love Driving Slow crew.

Another Lexus coming in with the I Love Driving Slow crew

Troung drove his Accord all the way from Louisiana, and was in the CZ wheels booth for the day. There should be some photoshoots of the Accord popping up online somewhere, it was a photographer favorite!

Easton’s IS300 owner of CZ wheels made the long trip from Louisiana as well, good to finally meet Easton in person and check out his car in person, we posted up photos of his car back in its early stages.   see here  Louisiana IS
Also in the CZ wheels booth was this Tot Tuong’s AMG C63 from Texas, featured on Mayday Garage, sporting a new set of wheels.

Always been a fan of 4 door Integras, Team V2LAB was in the house in full force.
We love some CCW wheels in the south…and there is a reason why…
Another Team V2Lab car, looking pretty.
The Team V2Lab assault continued outside, once the clouds started to clear out the hatches came outside and shined under the Florida sun.

There is a flawless formula for the S2000 that always makes you turn your head twice.

This Jetta was dumped to the max.. had a interesting color scheme going on.

Very cool setup in the engine bay for this EG sedan, it was indeed airbrushed and with great detail for the woodgrain.

Peep the cupcake exhaust, it seemed appropriate for the female owner. Very cool car full of personality, and character.
Rotiform equipped A6, I am sure we all have seen this beauty online, looks great in person!

Rion and Ethan were putting together a video of this S2000 and Anthony’s Miata on the outskirts of the meet.

First time seeing a modded CR-Z in person, I am sure there will be more of these to come within the year.
Took a little break and watched some of the Dodgeball tournament gong on. I thought it was gonna be friendly girly dodgeball, but it turned out to be some hardcore serious dodgeball.

Like I said…serious business
yep…in the face

That is about all we have so far from Auto Combine, still working on some more, so stay tuned, but we have to say once again thanks again to everyone involved for the event.  It was well worth the trip down to Florida, and we will try our hardest to come down again and attend more events in Florida.
