Southrnfresh 11 : Awards
Awards have been a bit of a controversy in our community. We have always made sure that our awards were unique and something that people actually wanted. Our culture was built on competition and while the biggest reward is pleasing yourself with your build. We all look forward to praise and acknowledgement from our peers, rather it be in person or on social media. For us we wanted to be sure that you are acknowledged for your hard work and dedication to the automotive culture. While we’ve had unique awards since Southrnfresh 5, we stepped it up in 2022 with Southrnfresh 9 and the Rings. And last year for Southrnfresh 10 we built multi-piece billet license plate frames with titanium removable center pieces that can be used as a key ring. We did not want these awards to be something that you just take home and it collects dust on your shelf. We want them to be memorable and something that you are proud to show off and as high quality as the builds that earned them.
This year for Southrnfresh 11 we built fully functioning 3 piece wheels made from billet aluminum and all proper hardware.
The awards will be bolted to a custom built base that will allow the wheels to free spin by way of hybrid ceramic bearings.
These wheels include 20 bolt and nut hardware that hold the barrel , face and lip together. They also have center caps , studs and lug nuts that are removable with a custom built engraved tool.
We have 10 different wheel styles for the awards. All the styles were meant to replicate some of the most common classic wheels, and some new styles to be shown at a later date.
Now they are a slightly un finished in raw form, but each design will be customized with their own unique finish. We are looking forward to showing off the finished product in the coming weeks. Check our social media outlets for more details!
