I met Meng years ago when he stayed in Atlanta(Meng’s old Type R). He kind of always just chilled and never said much. However, going to events and shooting cars gives us the chance to make good friends. In the few years prior to Meng moving to California, we got to kick it a lot outside of the typical car events. That same year we had a few other friends leave Atlanta and take the sunny road to California. We were all sad to be losing a good friend, but we all knew the move would get Meng where he deserved to be.

Meng and his brother came together and created Autotuned Garage and one of the first cars to make their way through the doors of Autotuned Garage was Meng’s FRS. In 4 months the car has gone through two full editions and is on its third iteration already.
Beginning with the “Matte Blue Lagoon” vinyl version (by Avery Dennison), the car underwent suspension
upgrades thanks to RS*R Black-I coilovers coupled with Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and a front strut brace.
Moving out to the wheel and tire setup, Meng went with 18 inch Volk TE37 Black Editions wrapped in 255/35 Nitto Invos.
This is all slowed by Brembo STI brakes gripping Stoptech rotors.
Under the hood you’ll find an AEM intake, HPS silicone hoses, and (spoiler alert) a Jackson Racing supercharger setup (coming in a future update). This all leads to a Milltek sport over-pipe and Tomei full catback exhaust and front pipe.
Looking inside, you’ll find a Cusco 4 point roll cage, OEM Audio Plus Reference 500 sound system, and Worksbell hub holding a Personal steering wheel.
Around the exterior of the car there’s an Extreme Dimensions front lip, Five Axis Design side skirts, Beatsonic rear window spoiler, and a Rocket Bunny rear diffuser.
In the second edition of Meng’s car, he stripped the wrap and moved back to his factory Hot Lava Orange paint and added an APR Performance GT500 big wing.
The result is a striking and performance-oriented daily-driven setup.
Stay tuned for our next update, featuring his Jackson Racing supercharger, a new color, and carbon fiber pieces all day and tomorrow.
In addition, keep an eye out for more from Autotuned and FRS86! They’re up to big things and can’t be slept on.
