BMW Power finishes 1st and 2nd at Daytona

After the dust settled, the fog cleared and all the cautions had run through BMW powered DP cars finished 1st and 2nd at Daytona. Many may have counted the defending champions out after a gear change left them in the pits only hours into the race but both cars from the Ginassi camp finished strong and at the front of the pack! It was looking bleak late in the race when a pit stop error caused driver Joey Hand to hit a tire while excited which resulted in a stop and go penalty which dropped him a couple of spots from the front. Fought back to contention and the closer, Scott Pruett, jumped in and did just that. Closed the door bringing both cars home in the front!
