Import Alliance Fall Meet 2011 Coverage

Import alliance fall meet unintentionally marks the end of the so called “season” for most of us in the South.  Not that everything stops, but it wraps up the big shows and meets in this region.  And the long wait till the Spring meet in Atlanta begins.  The Fall meet brings mostly people from neighboring states in town for the one day event.  Last year I attended Import Alliance Fall 2010, and the attendance this year doubled.  Which brought out some quality rides this time around.  The weather was perfect, but the wind was crazy, but overall perfect mid 60s all day as opposed to the low 40s the day before matched with the riverfront location at LP Field cant ask for more for an outside event.

Our trip up to Nashville was a last minute decision, our weekend had planned to be spent down in Jacksonville at the Sibling Rivalry Toyota Show.  But Jon made the last minute suggestion to go up to Nashville.  For me it was a split second “yes” from me, because I know we would be able to visit our Tennessee friends, and connect with the rest of PG+K.  Soon after we arrived and checked in our hotel, we connected with Jay and the rest of the Atlanta folks that rode up that morning at Bon’s house for some pregame, which is short for “meat and beer”.

Richard,Widdy,Caleb,Edberg,Meng giving me the jailhouse pose…
Bon’s hatch down at the moment, did not make it out to IA. But will be back on the road soon..

Always good times when we get together with the Tennessee family!
EG Mike lost a bolt for his Alternator on the trip up from Atlanta..but they got it taken care off while everyone checked up in.It took awhile for use to get in, with all the traffic and the long line that went all the way out to the highway. But the attendance was huge for a fall meet.So we parked and started snapping some photos, the first nice car i spotted was the Celica in superb condition. And there was another one right next to it just as clean.
Be driving Jay’s S2k after the pregaming..nobody drives under the influence rule #1

After a long wait in traffic wrapped around the stadium out to the highway, we parked and immediately noticed the crowd was already more than last year and it was only 10am.
First car i spotted was this clean Celica, parked next to its twin dressed in white parked right next to it.

This S2k was next to us in traffic, so I got a chance to appreciate it for its simple modifications. IA draws all types of people as you can see from the Bro moment next to the S2k..

Loved the wheels!

The HARLI twins showed up again!

My personal favorites from IA, really top notch build. The car was cleaned up shaved and tucked like a show car, but it looks like it is a absolute blast on the track.

Shi-Peng’s RSX daily driven and stock on the outside, but the car puts down around 400hp.
PGK Moe’s EG
Mike’s EG
Never met the owner of this EK, but it looks like a fun car aswell.

PGK Jay’s S2k, one of the most recognizable S2000s around. There is a huge misconception that this car is a show piece..but it gets driven hard on the street and the track. Whats the point of building something like this if you dont.

Be’s reppin PGK with his RHD Integra.   More of this car here.

Jay doing work on the grill as usual, need to nominate this guy for Iron Chief!
The infamous “make em say uhh” prelude. More of this within the week!

Matt Tucker’s Type R K equipped. I had a clear shot…but seen Bro proceeded in front..

Surprised to see this Odyssey come down from way up north for IA. Clearly one of the show favorites, every Honda owners ideal family car build.  Im sure most of you have sen this Van on Canibeat

Kind of a personal favorite, the car had a crazy pearl in it. My camera did not capture it…but its there if you look closely!
Another ATLIEN in attendance reppin Dynamic Sound
Very well executed coupe out in the overflow lots. HondaTech would be proud!
Datsun roadster just rolled up on the sidewalk, like a boss.
Beats walking…

Dad is setting his kid up right early.
A random mint challenger in the lot.

Caught another angle of this SVT focus.
Serious game of bean bag toss going on in the 3rd overflow lot

These 3 did at least 4 laps around the lots.
Frank owner of Downstar Bolts always come out to the South and slangs his nuts and bolts..
RHD SiR Civic EG full of high quality goodies.

NSX for sale with 52k miles, get your checkbooks out..

The “show your boob” car was on showcase for us all.Me and Jon ended our Import Alliance trip with some BBQ from Jack’s BBQ in Downtown Nashville. Highly recommended to check this place out for some food! But that is our photos from Import Alliance Fall meet. Special Thanks to Bon for the hospitality, and the rest of the Tennessee folks that showed us love while we were in town like they always do.  And also the Import Alliance group for doign this in the South!  See you all in the spring!
