Went out a few weeks back to the last NASA event at Road Atlanta. Jon and I had to get out and check it out before winter time comes and all the race cars go back in hibernation till spring.

Had a great conversation with the owner of this 510, lives the good life, travels and races cars. He also told us that shortly after the event he was heading out to Brazil were his new girlfriend waits for him…talk about the life…
Could not tell if this car was a Kit car or not, I am not too good with that stuff. Either way it was gorgeous.
The last thing I expected to see at the event was this Stock Car. 200,000$ screaming american muscle at its best that shook the ground every time it started.
Turbo diesel Rabbit was one of the coolest cars out to me.
This S60 is a familiar site on the track, and the streets of Atlanta has been around for some years. And it will be featured in S3 magazine next issue I think.
The S60 has a mean rear, notice the center exhaust.

Ls1 powered FC by Evolution Motorsports.
The black FD was still rotary powered, by the looks of it, it seemed to be failry stock plus a few bolt ons. Even running the stock twins still. i believe it got a podium finish in its class, if not than it was close to it. It gave the corvettes a good run in its class.
MTI Racing stable of corvettes
Ls1 powered 944, that took home first. This car was truly ripping up Road Atlanta during its sessions.
Fall Line Motorsports out of Chicago tent housed all their E46s
One of the drivers gave Jon a rundown of the car.
One of their cars had a little boo boo early in the day.
Had a trio of Hondas that were running also, did a little 3 wheel motion on turn 6b
Was cool to see a CB7 accord hitting the track. He had a issue a few laps after this photo. But before that he was running pretty smooth.
