Couples Therapy
Attention guys! Don’t you wish your girlfriend or wife would enjoy cars as much as you? How about not complain when you talk about them, which we all know is all the time. Well I’ll do you one better, I give you the newly engaged couple of Brian “BJ” Davis and June Alcantara, both of whom not only enjoy talking about cars, but modifying them as well.

Brian drives the 1993 Honda Civic and June the 2003 Toyota Corolla. Clearly they are both far from stock. Being involved with one of the up and coming premiere car groups in the nation, the couple wanted to fashion two incredible machines.
BJ’s Civic is outfitted with F: 16×8.5” +10 and R: 16×9” -5 CCW LM5 and low enough to give your ass carpet burn via KSport Kontrol Pro coilovers. He keeps the fender clearance intact by running a 195/40 Yokohama S Drive and dials in the camber via front and rear Buddyclub camber kits and KSport lower control arms.
June wasn’t about to let all the neck breaking to be done by her fiancé. She’s set her Corolla up on KSport Airtech Pro bags and beautiful Rotiform TMB 3 Piece…18×9.5” -5! June has accented the exterior with JDM Toyota Altis headlights and tail lights and shaved emblems.
Low-weezy-anA has amassed a fine collection of automobiles and always rolls hard at events, so when I was given the chance to hang out with these two love birds for the day I couldn’t pass it up. Throughout my day trip to Baton Rouge, I found myself always shooting BJ’s Civic. There was just something about it, simply clean and iconic figure. Then I learned the Corolla’s curves and how to handle the poke of June’s Rotiforms. This has to be one of the cleanest Rolla’s around.
It was funny to listen to the two gear heads talk about how the division of mods lays out. Supposedly it’s BJ’s turn to change up his look, but June is pushing for that dream wedding. What will win out…the beauty or the beast?
