Riverside Chattanooga 3 2018 coverage

After weeks of recovering the homepage from an attack and switching over to a new look, we finally  have a chance to share some of our photos from Riverside Chattanooga 3.  This event has become our season starter after the winter, and is a must attend for all of us in Atlanta.  And as usual we took control of the pre-meet the night before right in the middle of downtown Chattanooga.

Chattanooga feels like a major city, but is so small compared to Atlanta.  Its a good escape from the traffic and chaos of Atlanta.  Driving up to Chattanooga for the weekend always reminds us of the old days when we used to go to Nashville for Import Alliance.

This was a good chance for me to put my new project on the open road.  I purchased this car from a 85 year old retired lawyer back in January.  He bought the car brand new for $77k cash in 2007.  Drove it everyday to work and took great care of it.  He was a customer of mine at Butler Tire, and wanted to get rid of the car for a newer car.  I had always complimented him on how clean the car was, and always told him he should hold on to it.  One day he called me up at work, and said the dealer didn’t really offer him much as a trade in, and wanted to get rid of it.  I was not planning on owning a Mercedes anytime soon, but had been wanting to get a big sedan in the near future.  The car was in good condition and I could not pass up the deal.  A few days before Riverside I decided to drive the car.  The Brabus wheels we had at work, and they were perfect fitment for the car, and I hooked up with Bremen Autowerks to get the car to sit right, and go even lower parked.  All within a few days.

Darris’ brought his Q45 out with his new Koenig Monsters.

Kevin Fields Mazda 6, always brings back memories of my Mazda 6 from a few years ago.

We hung out for a few hours at the pre meet, until about 10pm until things died down and headed in for the night to get ready for a early start.

As usual the roll in was smooth and calm.  The Riverside Team always does a good job getting everyone in and parked without much madness or congestion.  We were thankful to have our friends at Bremen Autowerks bring some of their personal cars up for the weekend.  Shown above is Eric’s Mercedes CL55 on 20″ Rotiform WRW wheels.

One of the locals giving Tae’s S2000 a very well in depth look over.  The guy was all over the car checking it out for at least 10-15 minutes.  Tae’s S2k is one of our favorites, and has been for a long time.

Chris’ Subaru STI.  Such a fan of this car, and I try to let you all know every time its posted.

Ending the coverage with Mason Gavin’s Lexus IS300 Sport wagon, and Lucas’ Lexus GS from the Riverside Chattanooga team.

Riverside Chattanooga continues to grow and be a must attend for us in the region.  The venue is perfect, the atmosphere is perfect, and the city of Chattanooga opens their arms to us.  Looking forward to Riverside 2019.  To see the whole gallery of photos check them out here .
