1996 Motortrend: Supra Turbo vs. RX-7 Turbo vs. 3000 GT VR-4 vs. 300ZX Turbo

Its 1996 and you want a new Japanese sports car.  Your choices are the 300zx Turbo , Toyota Supra Turbo, FD RX7, and the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4.  Looking back on it now out of all the cars in this video the only ones that hav remained at the top of its game is the Toyota Supra and the Mazda RX7.  As much as I appreciated the 300zx Turbo, I just have not seen them being built as much as the Supra and RX7.  In the past I always heard people tell me how the engine is expensive to build and never really responded as well as the other big Japanese engines.  I think the same can be said about the 3000GT , most of us love to see them modified, but not the most sought out chassis.  It is interesting to hear them describe these cars in such high regard and then predict that they will all be phased out.  If you could go back in time which one would you choose…??
