Autohaus Social : Auotomoto Festival 2019

Autohaus Social is a new shop specializing in European automotive repairs and upgrades.  The shop itself is new, but the owners and operators are some of the original founders and creators of everything euro in Atlanta.  The shop is located in Atlanta, and they had been renovating the shop for 2 years before opening.  The shop is state of the art, and provides an amazing experience that we expect from a dealership.

The European scene has always held some of the most memorable events.  The core of the Autohaus group is also responsible for creating the DurtyDubs and all of their events over the past 20 years.  Anything that they have been involved in has always had a special vibe.

Which is all the name “Autohaus Social” , the team put together an festival type event along the Atlatna Beltline.  Which is pretty much a huge trail that loops around Atlanta.  The trail connects the East,West,North and South side of Atlanta.  And takes you through some of the oldest, and newest parts of the city.

The main parts of the trail is the area between Krog Street and Ponce City Market, where there are shops, restaurants , and breweries.  And its also offers some of the best views of the city.  Every since its creation the beltline has given Atlanta a cooler vibe.  We finally have a place to take friends from out of town and showoff the city.  It may not be much, but it has become one of Atlanta’s hottest places to go and unwind.

The Automoto Festilval started on Friday at the Porsche Experience Center with Hot Laps in some of the wildest Porsche vehicles. It carried over to Saturday where they gathered some of the coolest European cars new and old and had them parked along the beltline.  And it concluded on Sunday afternoon for food and giveaways at Sweet Auburn BBQ.

One of my favorites was this Alfa Romeo SZ on display.  One of my most memorable cars from my Gran Turismo car collection.

Its easy to put together car events, but it takes time and perfect execution to put together something like this.  Hats of the to the whole Autohaus Social team, and everyone involved for a great event.
