Whips By Wade: Certified Summer 2023

Photos from this years Certified Summer car show held by my good friend Whips By Wade.  The cars are not typically what you would see here.  But it is part of our southern culture, and Wade does an amazing job showcasing this side of the automotive scene.  We were invited to bring a few cars out just to blend the styles and show a different side of modification to the crowd.  Larry Young brought out his LS460 , Greg Brown brought out his Toyota Century and Celsior, and Tee brought his LS500 for the day.  We were later joined by Mike Forsythe in his LC500 and Chris Jones and his LS460.   I am a huge fan of the show, and have been a fan of Wade’s content since we met.  The growth of the brand has been amazing to watch, excited to see where next years show takes the brand.

Check out a few photos from the event.

Sac’s Speed Shops Impala and Wade’s Buick Regal on display.

Wade has been building this Regal for a few years.  The car started out as being built locally here in Georgia, but with most big builds the shops never really followed through with the quality that Wade demanded.  And the car was sent out west to Sac Speed Shop in Sacramento.

Sac Speed Shop pulled the motor and chassis off the car and pretty much redid everything you see.

The car went from a LS swapped regal, to a chassis off full restoration from top to bottom.

Wade has been a ambassador for Forgiato for many years.  Last year they had him design his own wheel named “WADE FF” which is on his Regal build.  The Regal also sits on a full QA1 suspension and a Baer Big Brake Kit.

Interior completely redone and soft as ever..

Sac Speed Shop Impala made the trip out from California.

Retro interior but still classy.  Nothing looks out of place.

Supercharged LS under hood flowing flawlessly with the paint.
