Lake Front Meet 5

While the rest of the United States stopped for Import Alliance, the scene in New Orleans held their annual Lakefront Meet. LFM as it is commonly referred to is the largest meet Louisiana’s car scene has to offer. Originally started by the New Orleans 350Z chapter as a Z meet, it soon turned into a mass gathering of all makes and models. This year’s meet brought out the largest crowd of cars to date; easily 300+ domestic, import, European, and classic cars showed up.
The Lakefront Meet is what everyone looks forward to; you build your car and make last minute detail changes just for it. LFM is about all the different groups horsepower, flush and garage queens getting the chance to get together as one family. Many beautiful cars were on display, including Kaho Ng’s CCW fitted S2000, Philip Tran’s orange rimmed WRX, Southern HotRod’s Jeep SRT-8, and the SupraCamino.
LFM5 was a big success thanks to the collective efforts of all the folks from nostreetracing.org, sportnimports.com, Southern HotRod, NOLA Motorsports Park, and a big shout out to Dwayne Matherne for making the best jambalaya. Can’t have LFM without the jambalaya.
